scarring. However, the risk of scarring from laser
hair removal is rather small. The main reasons can cause scarring of laser hair
removal :

Some skins are just not suitable for lasers.
Such as a history
of hypertrophic scarring or keloid formation.
Different types of skin must be used suitable laser. If laser be used on
the wrong type of skin, it can cause serious burns and lasting
pigment or scarring. The darker skin types must pay attention to
it.
The experience,
skill, knowledge and training of the
laser operator.
Getting a laser hair removal treatment at an unlicensed clinic
and under people with no medical training can be very risky.
Most dermatologists recommend waiting 1 year after taking isotretinoin (Accutane®) before doing laser hair removal because
of atypical scarring that has been associated with use of this
drug during treatment.
A few patients about 2% - 10% especially in darker skin types will have temporary pigmentary changes after laser hair removal treatment. Don't worry because most of time this is not scarring. The skin will automatically resolve from weeks to months but as far as possible not to tanning.
